After working as an antique dealer, New York-based Julia Ferentinos was inspired to make her own jewelry and objects. Ferentinos’ debut collection features gold and silver pieces that are heavily inspired by her Greco-Roman heritage while remaining modern in size and attitude.

Versatility is at the heart of the twin-sister-led brand Lié Studio. The pair focus on simple, wearable pieces—mostly metals—that can be incorporated into busy lifestyles—like their own. Swedish jewelry designer Annika Inez creates simple pieces that bring a calmness to any outfit. We love her bold, modern take on the heart shape as a pendant on a chain, as well as her interpretation of it as a link. Pamela Zamore looks to art, art deco, and vintage jewelry for inspiration to create 18-karat jewelry that is definitely a throwback. The 18-karat gold pieces have a distinctive definition and dimension without being too heavy for the wearer. Family members Samantha and Beth Yorn have collaborated to create a colorful line of high jewelry that combines polished gold, sharp cuts, and classic designs. Jewelry lovers will know Beth Yorn from the celebrity-loved line by Elisabeth Bell and Samantha Yorn formerly of Vogue Jewelry Group—the brand officially launched on October 7.

In the second act of his eponymous brand, Eddie Borgo has grown up and embraced fine materials and precious stones in his Edward Borgo creations. Borgo, a former Vogue Fashion Sponsor and CFDA Award winner, has moved his studio to Los Angeles and embraced the city with his new signature: the palm leaf. A collaboration between digital creative and jewelry enthusiast Jalil Johnson and At Present (a next-generation online jewelry curation marketplace from renowned jeweler Ben Bridge), the collection champions big ideas in modern design: gender-neutral pieces; monogrammed jewelry—a classic jewelry technique used to create hidden messages for the wearer using the first letters of the stones used; and timeless shapes that can be worn from day to night.
