Both events were a special occasion for Keys, given it was her very first time in Mexico City. In addition to the amazing food and beautiful architecture, the star says she was instantly drawn to the city’s people. “I just really love the people, the energy, the love,” says Keys. “The art is incredible.” She was particularly struck by just how big the city is, too. “Culturally, it is so rich and it’s such a big city so much bigger than you would maybe even think,” she says. “There’s the big city element, and then you can drive an hour away and go to the pyramids.”
