We often hear that sleeping on your side can be bad for your skin, especially on your neck and chest. Is that true? "If you sleep on your side, you may see more wrinkles near your cleavage, because your breasts are pulled to one side by gravity and compressed," Prager explains. But he says you don't necessarily have to change your sleeping position if you want to avoid this: "You can try wearing a sports bra at night or order a special bra online."
Second, the skin on the neck, chest, and upper chest area has virtually no fatty tissue, making it extremely sensitive. “This is where the skin quickly sags because of the loss of elasticity with age.
